On Self-Remembering
Oh, it is so easy to sleep through life, bitching at the SUV driver on his/her cellphone as they cut you off. It is harder to remember why we are here. It is harder to be truly considerate. It is harder to be a peace-maker.
On The War
I am surrounded by many people who think that the violence of war is the answer; many will call themselves Christians, many will call themselves Muslims, many will call themselves Jews. Did they forget their Teachers?
Daniel 9:9 - To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him.
Albert Einstein had this to say:
"You cannot prevent and prepare for war at the same time."
"The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it. Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life."
