We Don't Torture!

...but we would like to!

Another contradiction by the Repug^hbs. On one hand, GeeDubbya says "We don't torture", while his Veep (Big Dick) fights to allow such repug/repubnant activities.

Torture. The American Way? I'll say it again: my most "religious" experience was during the Cold War; thinking about atomic annihilation makes you think of God. In this case, my Jesus was the American Flag. If I prayed/pledged to that icon, I wouldn't turn into vapor. We wouldn't torture - the other people were the Evil Ones, not US!

Now, we justify it: "if its good for them, its good for us". We are becoming them. The Christian Right is fighting the fact that Winter is also a season for certain non-Christian religions, to the point where they will sue you for a "Season's Greetings" - why? - because you didn't say "Merry Christmas"! How long before what Osama said becomes a truth and not a complete exaggeration? Crusade. If you aren't with us (white male, rich, christian), you are against us (people of color, women, poor, agnostic/buddhist/hindi/etc.). How long before "sue" becomes "bomb"?
