Over 122 convicted Death Row criminals have been set free by advances in DNA testing. The most recent was Harold C. Wilson, who languished in Death Row for almost 18 years*. Some people are crying for an execution "within five years" of the conviction.
Are innocent people ever convicted of a crime?
Are courts fallible?
Is the execution of even a single innocent person worth the self-righteousness of vengeance?
In a so-called Christian Country, how can we violate one of the Ten Commandments?
* Harold C. Wilson was discharged from Prison with $0.65 and a bus token.
